INTERVIEW WITH LIV LEE.
WHO SHE IS. WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT. WHAT INSPIRES YOU.
Liv Lee, who grew up in Port Macquarie, Australia, was inspired by her hometown's plant life. Spending hours on the shore, her designs were equally influenced by bright yellow everlasting flowers on the rocks or rampant blue morning glory on the grassy headlands.

WE SAY NO TO PLASTIC.

With our "Coast Collection" made of 100% natural fibers, we are making a valuable contribution to protecting the oceans and commemorating this year's World Oceans Day, because our oceans are largely endangered by climate change and microplastic pollution.

What is World Oceans Day?
Our oceans are threatened by pollution, climate change and overfishing. The UN World Oceans Day on June 8th each year reminds us of the vital importance of the world's oceans for us on earth. At the same time, he calls for action to be taken to protect the seas.
Why is protecting the oceans so important to us?
The oceans are essential to life on earth. They are important suppliers of food and oxygen. In addition, they stabilize our climate by largely absorbing the CO2 emissions emitted by humans.
How does fashion influence our seas?
Clothing made from synthetic fibers releases harmful microplastics with every wash load. The proportion is even greatest during the first wash. The particles are then washed into the sea, where they account for up to 35% of all microplastics.
What does the Coast Collection have to do with it?
We don't give microplastics a chance: We use natural and environmentally friendly materials in the production of our clothing. Our recyclable Coast Collection consists of 100% natural fibers such as sustainable organic cotton, organic merino wool or linen. This is our contribution to protecting the oceans.
