As a rule of thumb: Babies wear one more layer than adults, and the warmer the outside temperature, the fewer layers are needed. An important tip for regulating temperature: Check your baby’s neck regularly. If it’s warm and dry, everything is perfect. If it’s damp or sweaty, remove a layer.

The base layer worn directly against the skin:
