It's fascinating: we like to dress according to how we feel at the moment, choose a particular color and style of clothing based on the mood and the occasion. Conversely, clothing can influence our mood or affect our self-confidence. When we feel comfortable in our clothes, we convey that to the outside world, appear more self-confident and goal-oriented. Silk is a material that supports this fascination in a very special way. Women's silk clothing is soft and leaves a touch of luxury on our skin. We feel safe and secure in it, at the same time a little caressed and extremely harmonious. The reason is the special softness of silk, it glides gently over the skin and envelops us. It lets the skin breathe and gives it a certain freedom.
For many centuries the production of silk remained a secret of the Chinese and a few other cultures in Asia. In the meantime, silk production has spread all over the world, but not every type of production meets the high demands that are actually placed on such a high-quality fabric. We join the ranks of manufacturers who pay attention to high quality and sustainability at the same time and are even pioneers of a trend that finally wants to establish itself in the clothing industry. Sustainability is on everyone's lips, but we live it with every shirt that leaves our house and with every dress that women wear of us. This also applies to the manufacture of silk. Unfortunately, this has not yet been possible to a sufficient extent in organic-controlled quality, but it still makes up 35 percent of our range.
Our silk impresses with its properties:
Shirts and blouses made of pure silk are not close to the body, but still emphasize a slim figure. They play around your figure and draw the eye to a slim silhouette. At the same time, a fabric of this quality and with such an ideal fit can hide small problem areas, even if we are sure that only you can see them. But silk not only gives you a great figure and a good look, it also makes you shine, because you actually appear more self-confident and goal-oriented.
Pure silk is wonderfully cool and flowing. A blouse made of pure silk is ideal for the business look and completes your office outfit. But there are also material combinations in which silk knows how to convince. Let's take the example of the combination of linen and silk. Both fabrics are rather cool and smooth, but linen still has a matt, rougher surface. Mixing it with silk makes the silk more robust and somewhat more resistant on the one hand, and less prone to fiber cracks. The linen, on the other hand, becomes a little smoother, and the mixture gives the fiber a slight sheen. The addition of silk results in an improved linen fiber, so to speak, with a no less high quality of the silk fiber.
Silk clothing is extremely delicate and resents rough handling. We recommend hand washing in cold water so that you can enjoy your clothes made of pure silk or a corresponding material mixture for a long time. Do not wring the blouses or shirts and place them on a thick towel to dry. The garment can be gently rolled in here, which removes a large part of the water. Then hang up the blouse or dress to dry. The good: silk won't warp if you handle it carefully. It is very crease-resistant and does not require an iron immediately after drying. In this respect, it is very easy to care for, which is also supported by its property of not being particularly susceptible to soiling. The smooth fiber hardly absorbs dirt and so a silk shirt stays clean for a long time. It doesn't have to be washed after each use, which in turn is sustainable. This is how we work together: We present you high-quality clothing made of silk from sustainable production in our range. You contribute to sustainability by purchasing these items of clothing, which later even help to save detergent and water. We enter into a cooperation, so to speak, and together make the world a little bit better!
