Size charts for children's fashion.

The decisive factor for children's clothing sizes is their body length, i.e. size 98/104 is suitable for a child who is approx. 95 - 106 cm tall. This can be seen as an approximate guideline. Ideally, you should simply measure, as not every child is "built" the same. If you want to give away children's outerwear such as shirts or sweaters, it is better to choose one or two sizes larger if in doubt. On the one hand, this looks more casual and on the other hand, the children will grow into it.

How to measure correctly:
  1. Body height: Measure from the top of the head to the sole.

  2. Chest circumference: Measure horizontally around the body at the strongest part of the chest.

  3. Waist size: Run the tape measure around the narrowest part of the torso.

  4. Hip circumference: Measure horizontally around the strongest part of the hips, with the legs closed.

  5. Sleeve length: With the arm bent, measure from the ball of the arm to the wrist.

  6. Side length: Measure sideways from the waist across the hip to the hemline.
